The community is dedicated to preserving Nyikina-Mangala law and culture, offering a range of services including a community office, school, women's centre, and tourism ventures. The Nyikina Mangala Community School, founded in 2000, provides education from kindergarten to Year 10, emphasizing literacy, numeracy, and cultural heritage. The community operates the 133,000-hectare Mt Anderson Station, employing members in cattle management and tourism, fostering economic self-sufficiency and cultural pride.
