Indulkana Airstrip, located near the Aboriginal community of Indulkana (also known as Iwantja) in South Australia's Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, serves as a vital transportation link for the region. Situated approximately 10 kilometers west of the Stuart Highway and 360 kilometers south of Alice Springs, the airstrip facilitates access to this remote area. The community, with a population of around 338 residents, is one of six main towns on the APY Lands. Indulkana offers essential facilities, including a local community store with a fuel supply outlet and the Iwantja Arts center, which showcases artwork from across the APY Lands.
