Hornsby Model Engineers

Hornsby Model Engineers Co-operative Ltd operates the Galston Valley Railway, a 5-inch gauge miniature railway spanning approximately 1 km through a scenic bushland setting in Galston, NSW. The railway offers public rides on the second Sunday of each month, providing a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. In addition to the mainline, the club is developing a large Gauge One layout featuring scale buildings, enhancing the immersive model railway experience. Membership is open to individuals with an interest in model engineering, regardless of experience level. The club also hosts special events, such as the annual Galston500, which raises funds for Multiple Sclerosis research.
