The Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) Hastings Unit is a dedicated team of approximately 20 volunteers committed to serving the Hastings community 24/7. They respond to emergencies such as storms, floods, and other weather events, and assist agencies like Victoria Police, Fire, and Ambulance in search and rescue operations. Operating from Frankston-Flinders Road, Hastings VIC 3915, the unit relies on community donations to maintain and upgrade vehicles, equipment, and training opportunities. They do not charge call-out fees for their services.
