Established in 1945, the Greenock Country Fire Service (CFS) station is located at 3 Murray Street, Greenock, South Australia. Serving as a vital component of Region 2's Light Group, this dedicated team responds to a diverse range of emergencies, including bushfires, structural fires, and vehicle accidents. The station operates two primary appliances: Greenock 14, a 4WD Isuzu NPS 75-155 with a 1,550-litre water capacity, and Greenock 34, a 4WD Isuzu FTS 139-260 with a 3,000-litre capacity. Training sessions are held every Tuesday at 7:30 pm, welcoming new recruits and cadets to join their ranks. For more information, contact Captain David Materne or attend a training night.
