The Googa Outdoor Education Centre, located at 571 Nukku Rd, Googa Creek QLD 4314, is a collaborative initiative among three Lutheran schools: Grace Lutheran College, Good Shepherd Lutheran College, and Grace Lutheran Primary School. Nestled in the Blackbutt Ranges, approximately nine kilometers from Blackbutt township, the centre spans six hectares, with an additional 120 hectares for hiking and camping. Facilities include six dormitories, each with three cabins, a kitchen, and a cookhouse, where students cook over open fires. Additional amenities feature a high ropes course, multi-purpose hall, and various outdoor activities. Students engage in farming tasks, including dairy operations, under staff supervision. The centre emphasizes a simple, bush lifestyle, encouraging self-reliance and teamwork.
