Goonoo Forest, NSW

Goonoo State Conservation Area, established in December 2005, spans 54,522 hectares in central western New South Wales. This expansive reserve is home to diverse flora and fauna, including the endangered malleefowl and the vulnerable glossy black-cockatoo. The area offers opportunities for birdwatching and exploration, with walking tracks through woodlands and small creeks.
