Golding Contractors operates the Jellinbah East coal mine in Central Queensland, providing mining services under a five-year agreement valued at approximately A$230 million. The scope includes mining pre-strip overburden and operating a fleet comprising a 600 t excavator and 220 t rear dump trucks. Located near Bluff, the mine has been in operation since 1989, producing low volatile bituminous coal with high specific energy and low ash content, ideal for pulverised coal injection and special coal boilers. The mining complex has a current production capacity of approximately 5 Mt/y.
