Ghost Mushroom Lane, located on Kangaroo Flat Road in Glencoe, South Australia, offers a unique after-dark experience where visitors can witness the bioluminescent glow of native ghost mushrooms. This seasonal attraction operates annually during May and June, providing access to a 2.3 km trail through a working pine plantation. Visitors can explore the forest via self-guided tours or guided tours, with access passes available for $20 per vehicle. The site is open from 4:00 pm to midnight each night during the season. Parking is available at the entrance, and visitors are advised to wear warm clothing, sensible footwear, and bring a torch. Please note that Ghost Mushroom Lane is not suitable for buses, caravans, campervans, or trailers.
