Galiwinku Police Station, located on Elcho Island in the Northern Territory, serves the Galiwinku community. As part of the Nhulunbuy police district, it extends east from the northern tip of Grindall Bay to the mouth of the Goromuru River, encompassing several islands in the coastal district. The station provides support to neighboring communities, including Yirrkala, Birritjimi, and Gunyangara, and patrols a total population of approximately 5,500 people. The officer in charge also oversees the management of the adjoining Gapuwiyak Police Station.
