
Friendly Beaches Campground, nestled within Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's East Coast, offers a serene coastal retreat. Accessible via Friendly Beaches Road, approximately 19 km before Coles Bay, the campground provides basic facilities, including two new toilet blocks and a viewing platform with beach access. Campsites, suitable for tents, campervans, and caravans, are available on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 14 nights. The area boasts pristine white sandy beaches ideal for long walks, swimming, surfing, and fishing. Please note, there is no fresh water available; visitors should bring their own supplies. As a Fuel Stove Only Area, open fires are prohibited; gas and fuel stoves are permitted except on Total Fire Ban days. A valid parks pass is required for entry.
