It provides care and support for up to 10 adults with intellectual disabilities or cognitive impairments who have been detained under forensic orders. Operated by the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety, the FDS focuses on rehabilitating individuals and enhancing their quality of life to facilitate safe community reintegration. The facility is managed by an appointed administrator, with oversight from the Director of Forensic Disability, ensuring compliance with the Forensic Disability Act 2011.
