The dam is stocked with barramundi and sooty grunter, making it a popular spot for anglers. A Stocked Impoundment Permit (SIP) is required for fishing. Boating activities are permitted, with operators advised to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a distance of at least 200 meters from the dam wall. Camping is allowed, with a maximum stay of four weeks, and open campfires are permitted in designated areas. Visitors are encouraged to observe all signs and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
