
Elgin Vale Sawmill, established in 1944, is a heritage-listed steam-driven sawmill located at Manumbar Road, Elgin Vale, Queensland. It replaced an earlier mill from 1927 and was among the state's largest sawmills by the late 1940s. The complex includes a large open-sided timber-framed shed, detached office, remnants of the former mill township, two cottages, and a toilet shed. The mill ceased operations in 1987 and is now preserved as a museum, offering insights into Queensland's timber industry history.
