
Established in 1939, Echunga CFS is a dedicated volunteer fire station serving the community of Echunga, South Australia. Operating under the South Australian Country Fire Service, the station is equipped with two primary appliances: Echunga 14, a 4WD general purpose appliance with a 1,550-litre water capacity, and Echunga 34, a 4WD general purpose appliance with a 3,000-litre water capacity. The station responds to a variety of incidents, including bushfires, structure fires, vehicle accidents, and storm damage. Community members interested in joining can attend training sessions held every Monday at 7:30 pm.
