Dangar Island Rural Fire Brigade, located at 18 Neotsfield Avenue, Dangar Island, NSW 2083, is a dedicated volunteer unit of the NSW Rural Fire Service. Serving the island's 313 residents, the brigade responds to bushfires, boat fires, and house fires both on and off the island. In 2014, they celebrated the opening of a new purpose-built station, featuring a vehicle bay, workshop, personnel area, office, and kitchenette. The brigade also educates island residents about fire safety and remains on-hand 24/7 to protect the community.
