
Daguragu, formerly known as Wattie Creek, is a vibrant Aboriginal community located approximately 551 kilometers south of Darwin in the Northern Territory. Situated on a tributary of the Victoria River, it lies about 460 kilometers southwest of Katherine and 8 kilometers northwest of Kalkarindji. The community is home to around 242 residents, with an average age of 20. Daguragu is predominantly residential, featuring separate houses and a mix of public open spaces, heritage sites, and low-medium density residential areas. The community has a rich cultural heritage and offers a unique living experience in the heart of Australia's Top End.
