Coromandel Valley Country Fire Service, established in 1939, is a dedicated volunteer brigade serving Coromandel Valley and surrounding areas. As part of the Sturt Group, it responds to a diverse range of emergencies, including bushfires, vehicle accidents, and structural fires. The brigade operates two primary appliances: a 4WD General Purpose Appliance and a 4WD Light Pumper, equipped with essential firefighting and rescue tools. Training sessions are held on Mondays at 7:00 pm for seniors and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for cadets, fostering community involvement and preparedness.
