Commonwealth Hill Station, situated approximately 110 km west of the Stuart Highway in South Australia's Glendambo region, spans 513,000 hectares, making it the second-largest sheep station in Australia. The station manages a flock of 30,000 Merino sheep, with around 12,000 ewes lambing annually. Operations are conducted using a Cessna 172 aircraft and motorcycles, with air-to-ground UHF communication facilitating efficient mustering. The homestead operates on 24-hour solar power, complemented by a backup generator. Proximity to the Stuart Highway allows participation in local events such as the Coober Pedy Races and Glendambo Gymkhana.
