Colbinabbin Fire Station, located on Meade Lane in Colbinabbin, Victoria, serves as a vital component of the Country Fire Authority's operations in the region. The station is strategically situated near the Colbinabbin Water Storage and the Colbinabbin Recreation Reserve, enhancing its accessibility and response capabilities. The brigade actively participates in community safety initiatives, including planned burns to study fire behavior in various crop types. For instance, between December and March 2024, the brigade conducted controlled burns in canola stubble to gather data on fire behavior under different weather conditions. Additionally, the brigade has responded to significant incidents, such as a 200-hectare grass fire on December 30, 2020, demonstrating its commitment to protecting the local community.
