Located at 4 Menzies Street in Calliope, Queensland, the Calliope State Emergency Service (SES) is a dedicated volunteer group committed to preparing the community for, responding to, and recovering from disasters. They assist police, ambulance, and fire services when additional resources are needed. Training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 pm, excluding school and public holidays, welcoming new members and interested individuals.
