Located on Bruthen-Buchan Road, 18 km from the Buchan Caves turn-off on Great Alpine Road, the Buchan Rifle Range offers a 12-lane facility with concrete benches ranging from 25m to 500m, accommodating all calibres, including 50 cal BMG. Amenities include male and female toilets, running water, shelter, and a picnic area. Regular events include general shoot days on the fourth Sunday of each month (except December) from 9 am to 2 pm, and weekday shooting on the second Wednesday of each month from 9 am to 2 pm. Range fees are $25 for non-members, $15 for members, and $10 for pensioners; juniors shoot free. Targets are available for $2 each.
