Border Ranges National Park

Border Ranges National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, offers a pristine wilderness of untouched rainforests and unique flora and fauna. Visitors can explore the Tweed Range Scenic Drive, a segment of the Rainforest Way, with opportunities to stop and immerse in the landscape. The park features various walking tracks, including the Palm Forest walking track through subtropical rainforest and the more challenging Booyong walk starting from Sheepstation Creek campground. Picnic and barbecue spots are available, complemented by lookouts offering stunning views of the crater escarpment, Wollumbin-Mount Warning, and lush rainforest. The park is accessible from Kyogle and Lismore, with campgrounds for those wishing to stay overnight.
