
Booti Booti National Park, situated on an 8km peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and Wallis Lake near Forster, offers a diverse natural experience. Visitors can enjoy activities such as hiking, swimming, birdwatching, and whale watching during the winter migration. The park also provides opportunities for surfing, mountain biking, and picnicking under paperbark trees. Notable attractions include the Cape Hawke lookout and the Ruins campground and picnic area. The name "Booti Booti" comes from the local Worimi Aboriginal word meaning "plenty of honey."
