The River Walk in Boonoo Boonoo National Park is an 8.5 km one-way trail connecting Morgans Gully picnic area, Cypress Pine campground, Platypus Hole picnic area, and Boonoo Boonoo Falls picnic area. This Grade 3 track offers scenic views, wildlife watching, swimming, and picnicking opportunities. The journey begins at Boonoo Boonoo Falls picnic area, where visitors can take a short walk to the falls. The trail winds through dry eucalypt forests adorned with wildflowers like wattles, pea flowers, and rock orchids, especially vibrant in spring. Birdwatchers may spot species such as the glossy black-cockatoo. Along the way, the Platypus Hole picnic area provides a chance to observe platypuses during early morning and late afternoon hours. The track concludes at Morgans Gully picnic area, a serene spot for relaxation. The walk is accessible via several points along Boonoo Boonoo Falls Road. Park entry fees apply.
