Bilgola Beach is a serene 500-meter stretch of sand along Sydney's Northern Beaches, nestled between Bilgola Head and Newport Head. Facing southeast, it offers excellent surfing conditions, especially at the north end, with breaks best in north-easterly winds. The beach features a single sandbar, occasionally interrupted by shifting rips and permanent rips near the rocks at each end. For a safer swimming experience, the southern end boasts an 8-lane, 50-meter rockpool with disability access, change rooms, and toilets. A nearby café provides refreshments, enhancing the beach's inviting atmosphere.
