Barron Falls Walk

The Barron Falls Lookout offers an accessible 1.2 km return walk through lush rainforest, leading to breathtaking views of the 125-meter Barron Falls. The elevated boardwalk is wheelchair and pram-friendly, with interpretive signs along the way sharing insights into the region's flora, fauna, and Indigenous cultural connections. The lookout provides panoramic vistas of the gorge and the waterfall, which is particularly impressive during the wet season when it transforms into a powerful cascade. The walk begins at the Barron Falls Road car park, approximately 5 kilometers from Kuranda Village.
