The Katanning Gold Project, situated approximately 275 km southeast of Perth and 40 km northeast of Katanning in Western Australia, is Ausgold Limited's flagship venture. The project encompasses a 4,031 km² area within the underexplored Katanning greenstone belt, known for its potential Archean gold deposits. A definitive feasibility study completed in June 2025 confirmed robust financial returns, projecting a life-of-mine production of 1.14 million ounces of gold over an initial 10-year period. Ausgold is advancing toward a final investment decision, with first production targeted for late 2027.
