At Platypus Park in Atherton, attractions include the Station Café, model railway display, retail shop, and maintenance facilities. The organization offers steam train rides on select weekends, providing a nostalgic journey through the scenic landscape. Additionally, the Railway Refreshment Room serves meals in a 1940s-style setting, enhancing the historical experience. Ongoing restoration projects aim to expand the operational network and preserve Queensland's railway heritage for future generations.
