Located at 26 Leverrier Street in Bruce, the AIS Arena is Canberra's premier destination for sports, events, and entertainment. With a capacity of 6,000, it hosts a variety of mid-sized events, from thrilling sporting games to captivating live performances. Opened in 1981, the arena underwent an extensive renovation in 2023, enhancing its facilities while preserving its rich history. The venue features a 1,200-tonne suspended concrete panel roof spanning 100.4 meters, supported by 12 steel masts and 36 mainstay cables. Accessible via Car Park 5, located directly across from the arena at the corner of Leverrier Street and Battye Street, the venue offers ample parking for 3,500 cars and buses.
