Adels Grove Airfield

Adels Grove Airstrip, located near Lawn Hill in Queensland, Australia, serves as a vital access point for visitors to the region's natural attractions. The airstrip is situated approximately 10 kilometers from the Lawn Hill Gorge, within the Boodjamulla National Park, and about 50 kilometers from the world heritage-listed Riversleigh Fossil Fields. The airstrip is privately owned by R & M Lowmow and features a gravel surface with a length of 1,130 meters, suitable for small aircraft. While the airstrip provides essential access to the area, it is important to note that transport from the airstrip to the main facilities at Adels Grove may not be readily available, and the journey to the gorge is approximately 10 miles.
