Comprising over 2,200 full-time and volunteer personnel, the ESA operates four key services: ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service, and ACT State Emergency Service. These services work collaboratively to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. The ESA is administratively part of the Justice and Community Safety Directorate of the ACT Government.
