The Yilgarn History Museum, located at 26 Antares Street in Southern Cross, Western Australia, is housed in a heritage building constructed in 1892. This museum showcases a diverse collection of artifacts and records from both the agricultural and mining industries. Exhibits include a prospectors camp, minerals and rocks, an authentic 5-head stamp battery, agricultural and transport items, a bottle collection, early educational materials, and photos and citations of Yilgarn servicemen. Visitors can also view a rare camel wagon and railway memorabilia. Admission is free, with donations accepted and appreciated. The museum operates Monday to Friday, with varying hours, and is open every second Saturday starting January 18th, except during seeding, harvest, and the Annual Show Day on August 30, 2025. It is closed on Sundays.
