Truganini Lookout, situated on The Neck isthmus connecting North and South Bruny Island, offers panoramic 360-degree views of Adventure Bay, Great Bay, the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, and the Tasman Sea. Visitors ascend approximately 200 steps to reach the viewing platform, where a memorial honors Truganini, a significant Aboriginal woman from the Nuenonne people. The area is also home to a penguin rookery; from September to February, little penguins return to their burrows at dusk, providing a unique wildlife experience. Facilities include a car park and basic amenities.
