Nestled in Gunning's historic Art Deco Coronation Theatre, The Picture House Gallery & Bookshop showcases original artworks by local and interstate artists. Operated by actor Max Cullen and artist Margarita Georgiadis since 2003, the gallery features paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics. The adjoining bookshop offers a diverse selection of second-hand titles, including movie memorabilia, vintage magazines, scripts, and art books. The intimate 50-seat theatre hosts performances by acclaimed musicians and is available for community events. Open weekends and public holidays, or by appointment.
