The Big Camera Museum of Photography, located along the Great Eastern Highway in Meckering, Western Australia, is the only museum dedicated entirely to photography in the country. Housed in a fully air-conditioned building shaped like a giant 35mm camera, it showcases over 3,000 fully operational cameras, projectors, enlargers, processing equipment, magic lanterns, and other photographic memorabilia. The collection spans from eight years before photography was invented to modern-day items. Visitors can explore the evolution of photography through these exhibits. The museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except Wednesdays and Thursdays. Admission fees are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under 12 years.
