Pichi Richi Railway offers a captivating journey through South Australia's Flinders Ranges, operating restored steam and diesel trains on the historic Ghan route between Port Augusta and Quorn. Since 1973, dedicated volunteers have meticulously preserved this 39-kilometre narrow-gauge line, which opened in 1879.
