The Old Jetty Heritage Memorial Site in Jurien Bay commemorates the original timber jetty constructed around 1885 for Walter Padbury, facilitating the export of wool, kangaroo, cattle, and horse hides. Over time, the jetty succumbed to natural forces, with its planking destroyed by fire in 1930 and eventually submerged by sand. Rediscovered in the 1970s, the site now features a large limestone rock and plaque marking the location of the former jetty, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's rich maritime history.
