Mushroom Rock

Mushroom Rock, located in Kalbarri National Park, showcases the remarkable effects of wind and water erosion on Tumblagooda Sandstone, resulting in unique geological formations. Visitors can embark on the Mushroom Rock Nature Trail, a 3-kilometer loop that offers stunning coastal views and insights into the area's flora and fauna. The trail is moderately challenging, featuring uneven surfaces and some steep sections. Along the path, informative signage provides details about the park's natural history. The trailhead is accessible via Mushroom Rock Road, approximately 6.6 kilometers south of Kalbarri township.
