Embark on the Mungo Self-Guided Drive Tour, a 70km loop through Mungo National Park's stunning desert landscape. Starting at the Mungo Visitor Centre, the route features the Walls of China boardwalk, Red Top lookout, Rosewood picnic area, Mallee Stop walking track, Round Tank picnic area, and Vigars Well picnic area. Vigars Well, dating back to early settlers, offers access to mobile dunes overlooking the majestic Mungo dry lakes. The park is home to emus, western red kangaroos, and various birds of prey, including the whistling kite, wedge-tailed eagle, and brown goshawk. Cycling the track by mountain bike is also an option.
