The town, with a population of fewer than 100 residents, is situated along the Perth to Kalgoorlie Great Eastern Highway. Established in 1901, Marvel Loch was originally a gold mining town and is named after a racehorse that won the Caulfield Cup in 1905. Today, it remains a quiet and picturesque location, offering a glimpse into Western Australia's mining history.
