Dr. Louise Grayson is an Australian photographic artist whose work explores cultural juxtapositions, emphasizing the shared human experience across cultures, races, and regions. Formally trained as a photojournalist, she engages in portrait, landscape, and documentary photography, focusing on the interconnectedness of people and their environments worldwide. Holding a Doctorate in Visual Journalism, a Master's in Visual Arts, and a Bachelor's in Journalism and International Politics, Louise has undertaken photographic commissions across Africa, Europe, and Asia for various international organizations, including AusAID, the European Commission, Save The Children, and the United Nations FAO. Her photographs have been exhibited in art galleries, such as the Brisbane Powerhouse Museum, and she has supported regional galleries with exhibited work, including "The Guardians: WWI Western Front to Resettlement" at the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery in 2018/2019. With 25 years of photojournalism and photographic experience, including 12 years as an academic teaching visual communications at Queensland University of Technology, Louise continues to capture compelling narratives through her lens.
