Little Mertens Falls

Little Mertens Falls, located within Mitchell River National Park in Western Australia's Kimberley region, offers a serene retreat into nature. A 1.6 km return trail from Mitchell Falls Campground leads visitors to the falls, featuring rock ledges, rapids, pools, natural spas, and a fern-lined cave. Swimming is permitted above and below the falls, providing a refreshing experience. The area holds spiritual significance for the Wunambal Gaambera people, and visitors are encouraged to respect this heritage. An Uunguu Visitor Pass is required for entry.
