Knox Gorge

Knox Gorge, located in Karijini National Park, offers a challenging 2 km return trail that descends steeply into the gorge, featuring rock scrambling and narrow passages. Along the way, fig trees cling to the rock walls, and visitors can enjoy pools suitable for swimming. The lookout provides panoramic views of the gorge, best appreciated during early morning or late afternoon when the sun enhances the landscape. Safety precautions include staying away from cliff edges, being aware of potential flash floods, and noting that water in gorge pools can be extremely cold, especially between April and September.
