Herberto Smith is an editorial and commercial photographer who divides his time between Byron Bay, Australia, and Lisbon, Portugal. He offers educational, creative, and mentorship programs supporting youth in the community. His work passionately captures unique and interesting stories from the periphery, bringing visibility to people and places that have mostly been unseen. Through documentary, environmental portraiture, and storytelling, his primary focus is the people he meets along the way, creating intimate moments, sharing stories, bringing depth and insight to the deepest of human experiences.
