
Gunns Plains Caves, located at 46 Cave Road, Gunns Plains, Tasmania, offers guided tours through a 275-meter limestone cave system renowned for its impressive calcite shawls, flowstones, and diverse formations. Visitors can observe glow-worms adorning the ceilings and may spot platypus, freshwater crayfish, fish, and eels in the underground river. The cave was discovered in 1906 and has been a popular tourist attraction since 1909. Daily tours are available, with the cave entrance situated just 30 meters from the car park.
