Freds Pass Sport and Recreation Reserve, nestled in lush native bushland along Bees Creek Road, serves as the sporting and recreational hub of the rural area. The Reserve boasts a variety of facilities, including six Polocrosse fields, a turf wicket, cricket nets, rugby league and union pitches, equestrian and dressage ovals, a soccer pitch, football ovals, paintball, and an archery course. Additional amenities encompass halls, clubhouses, meeting rooms, stables, workshop areas, picnic spots, BBQ facilities, play areas, and a Palm Garden leading to an ornamental lake. Home to over 20 community groups and social organizations, the Reserve hosts significant events like the Australia Day Celebrations, Fred’s Pass Rural Show, and Equestrian Carnivals. The Freds Pass Rural Markets operate every Saturday morning, offering local arts, crafts, plants, poultry, birds, and delicious food.
