Engawala Art Centre, located in the remote community of Engawala, Northern Territory, serves as a vibrant hub for local Aboriginal artists. Established in 2019, the centre provides a dedicated space for artists to create and showcase their work, fostering cultural expression and economic opportunities. Visitors can explore a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, ceramics, textiles, and woodwork, many inspired by local bush tucker and the unique fossil beds at nearby Alcoota Station. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, welcoming guests to view and purchase authentic Aboriginal art.
