Ellen Peak

Ellen Peak, standing at 1,012 meters, is the easternmost summit in Western Australia's Stirling Range National Park. This peak is renowned for its challenging terrain, featuring narrow ledges, steep ascents, and rugged rock scrambling, making it a favorite among experienced hikers seeking a "top of the world" experience. The trail to Ellen Peak is part of the Stirling Ridge Walk, a 28.8-kilometer circuit that traverses the range from Bluff Knoll to Ellen Peak and back, typically completed over two to four days. Hikers are advised to be well-prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions, including strong winds and potential hail, and to carry sufficient water due to the lack of natural sources along the trail.
