Echidna Chasm, located within Purnululu National Park in Western Australia, is a captivating natural wonder renowned for its towering 200-meter-high sandstone walls that narrow to just a meter in places. The 2-kilometer return trail offers hikers a unique journey through this narrow gorge, with sections requiring moderate climbing over rocks and ladders. The chasm's walls exhibit extraordinary colors, especially when sunlight filters through, casting a golden glow on the rock formations. The trail is accessible from the Echidna Chasm car park, approximately 19 kilometers north of the park's visitor center.
